Who Will Be The Best Contender For The 8th And 9th Hokage Positions
Naruto's ambition from the beginning of the story is to become the Hokage of Konoha. He was ultimately able to change people's attitudes by fighting and beating Pain after years of being alone and unrecognized. Naruto did not become the formal leader of Konoha until the end of Naruto Shippuuden. He succeeded his tutor Kakashi Hatake as Hokage, following in the footsteps of his father, the Fourth Hokage.

Naruto, on the other hand, missed his inauguration after being struck senseless by his own daughter. The Boruto series provided a more in-depth look at Naruto's role as the Seventh Hokage. Naruto is constantly preoccupied with numerous daily activities, and he is unable to spend time with his family.
However, Naruto's time as Hokage will come to an end, and it will be time for his juniors to take over. Many believe that because the current series is titled after Boruto, he will undoubtedly become Konoha's new big shot.
Boruto is also a brilliant ninja in comparison to his father. And, given Naruto's popularity, many in the village would anticipate Naruto's son to take up his father's current position. Boruto, on the other hand, has no desire to become Hokage because of his dislike for his "workaholic" father, who rarely has time to spend with his family.

Although Konohamaru and Naruto's friendship began as a playful rivalry, the two bonded over shared objectives and hoped to be at the top one day.
Naruto eventually accepted Konohamaru as his first student. This is critical since the majority of the prior Hokages were trained by other Hokages - the Fifth was a student of the Third, the Sixth was a student of the Fourth, and so on. As a result, Konohamaru is an excellent choice to take over. Naruto's status, particularly given that he is the strongest of his generation.

While Konohamaru has the potential to become the Eighth Hokage, Uchiha Sarada is another Boruto character who has demonstrated the qualities required to become the Ninth Hokage. Sarada, unlike Boruto, was a natural fit for the position of Hokage.
Sarada has proven herself to be a formidable opponent, having inherited both of her parents' abilities, and is now the most dedicated character in the series. Sarada becoming Hokage would also be a significant milestone for her clan, as a member of the Uchiha commanding Konoha has never been seen before.
Because of Sasuke's past transgressions, the villagers remained wary of the Uchiha clan even after Naruto took authority. As a result, Sarada's elevation to Hokage will alter long-held prejudices against her father.

Unfortunately, it is probable that Naruto will be the series' final Hokage. At the start of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Konoha has been destroyed, and Boruto is engaged in a battle with Kawaki, the reasons of which and the fate of which are unclear. With Konoha's bleak future, the village is unlikely to be rebuilt, implying that there may not be another Hokage after Naruto.
It's uncertain how long Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will go for, and it could possibly have a sequel now that Masashi Kishimoto's current manga, Samurai 8, has concluded. If the Boruto series continues for many years, at least two worthy successors to the much-anticipated Hokage will emerge.
